Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why do you always perform your own diagnostics — even if I know the issue or another shop already diagnosed it?

We want to protect your investment and our warranty. To guarantee our work and honor our 6-month warranty, we must verify the real cause before repairs start, so you're never paying for the wrong fix.

2. What does the booking process look like for my repair?

  1. Tell us about your issue (warning light, service needed, odd noise, etc.) and we'll set up your appointment.
  2. Once you arrive, we perform a thorough diagnostic/inspection (up to $150 per Florida law) and call you before any additional time is charged. If routine maintenance or a non-repair service is requested, a general inspection is not required.
  3. Once the diagnostic is complete, you receive a clear, itemized estimate for repairs — parts and estimated time included. Labor time may vary; in some cases it can be less than anticipated, or more, depending on complexity.
  4. Approve the work, and we order parts and get started.
  5. Repairs are completed, and you drive away with a 6-month warranty on parts and labor.

3. What's included in your diagnostic fee? Why is it necessary?

The initial inspection covers troubleshooting, use of scan tools, technical research, and a full explanation of findings. This ensures our work is correct and your warranty is protected.

Our technicians are equipped with not only years of knowledge, but specialized databases that contain case studies, known fixes, and manufacturer notices — updated hourly by live ASE-certified experts. We doubled down on our investment in training and technology so you get the most accurate answers every time.

4. Can I bring my own parts?

Absolutely! But please note: there is no warranty on labor or parts supplied by the customer, and labor is billed at 1.5× our hourly rate. We strongly urge customers to let us source parts for warranty and compatibility assurance — we work with top suppliers for the best parts and prices.

Thinking About Advice from Online Forums?

We love when our customers are proactive and care about their vehicles. Staying informed is a great way to protect your investment. Just remember: while forums and online communities can sometimes help, they often contain advice from enthusiasts rather than certified experts.

Our ASE-certified technicians have over 20 years of hands-on experience and access to the latest manufacturer updates and data. When you trust us to handle your diagnostics and repairs, you're relying on proven, professional expertise — not "guesswork" or hearsay.

We always welcome your questions, but rest assured: you're in the hands of true specialists who put accuracy and safety first.
